The Transporters formed in 2004 when founding members Steve and Grace met and started writing and producing together. Initially an experiment to fuse the darker elements of folk music to classical riffs and dance beats, the union soon produced its first album of songs in Transported LP.

The hunt for a drummer was short lived since Grace had known Gus for many years and he had already worked with us on Show Me Your Face (from Transported LP). Gus adds a rich element to the songs, a driving force that combines well with the structure of the tracks. His performances on his tribal drums transfix the crowd and he is now incorporating a standard rock drum kit which can only improve the diversity of our live sound.
Jules joined the band early 2008, a fantastic producer in his own right he also produces and co-writes. He plays bass in live shows and has recently produced some amazing remixes of Her World (Transported LP), Saturday Morning (Transported LP) and Lifewreck (forthcoming My Escape LP).
